The Adobe User Group of Atlanta January 2009 Meeting Jim DiVitale presents Image Compositing for Advertising Illustration About This Meeting: Let's get a fresh start to a new year together! And who is best speaker to get the New Year started off right? Why, of course! Jim DiVitale! Jim will share his compositing techniques on start to finish advertising illustration projects using several photographic elements. Emphasis will be on the creative use of Layers, Layer Masks, Blend Modes, and creative plug-ins using Adobe Photoshop CS4 software to montage images into a easy formula for creating the final art. About Our Presenter:
Jim DiVitale has been an Atlanta commercial advertising photographer and instructor for over 28 years, specializing in digital photography and computer photo illustration for advertising agencies, design firms and corporations nationwide. He is a PPA Master Photographer, Master of Electronic Imaging, Photographic Craftsman, Fellow of the American Society of Photographers, and a Canon “Explorer of Light.” Jim writes the Digital Photography Workshop column for Photoshop User Magazine and has been a Photoshop World Dream Team instructor since 1999. Going completely digital capture in 1992, his award winning digital photography has been featured in, among others, Graphis Photo, Print, Archive Magazine, Create Magazine, Creativity, Rangefinder, Professional Photographer, Photo Electronic Imaging, Digital Output Magazine, Digital Imaging, Photo District News, and After Capture Magazine.
